oo i love this ! the ambient background lighting really sets the mood, it's almost like the entire place is centered around this single moment of angelo throwing the dice. he looks so determined and confident, but rita looks a little worried. i am eating the colors like candies. XD

I was definitely not expecting something this detailed from our little exchange. I’m totally floored and flattered and all that good stuff. Actually I was so inspired last night that I wrote a little story about them getting back together after years and years xD You can read it if you want, but I warn you it’s not especially good (more just self serving…I wanted them to be close for once xD).

Anyway, this is just way past awesome. I love the lighting (it definitely speaks to a bar/casino type atmosphere) and the silhouettes in the background. It definitely feels like a noisy place :3. I love the expressions on both of them and how they’re sitting close like that. Angelo sort of looks like he’s trying to impress her or some such, hehe. His foreshortened hand is perfect and I love the detailing in her necklace. The whole thing is drawn and painted just beautifully :3 I really really love it. Thank you!

Yay, I'm glad you like it, and I'd totally read that story! I've read their backstory a few times and I'm just really attracted to them, they have such a bittersweet background. Then again I'm told I'm a bleeding heart, hehe.

Also Dean, the one who runs the game that Nina is from, wants me to let you know he also thinks the picture you did for me is really awesome. You already know I love it! :3
